Troublesome Bible PassagesThe Rutherford-Miles Class is beginning a series addressing "Troublesome Bible Passages"on 9-21-06. This study is authored by Douglas Wingier & David Watson. All are welcome to come and join in this enlightening endeavor. This class meets in the parlor off the Fellowship Hall area, located on the first floor. Hawkins Clark is the facilitator for this class. For more information on the study guide, click here.

 

The Contemporary Discipleship Class has a new ministry! Once a month, two couples from the class will be preparing a meal and sharing that meal with residents of the Welcome Home House on Gallatin Road. Welcome Home Ministries serves those recovering from addictions. We'll be collecting donations each Sunday to support this ministry.

Coats of Many Colors
Last Sunday our children continued their study of the life of the patriarch Joseph by making their own, wearable, "coat of many colors". Ask the children to show you their handy-work, they've been dying to show you.

Sunday School Trip to the Frist
The children took an excursion last Sunday afternoon to the Frist Center to experience the Egyptian Exhibit. Pictures of the trip will be posted on our website and the second floor hallway. Thanks to Ms Liz and all the Mummys & Daddy’s who chaperoned.
